Great thanks to the wonderful teacher Katka Kuratkova for her overall approach to both girls and for the time she subsequently spent with us parents. It was certainly no coincidence that she led us through the course. When we talk about EOV, we all remember the hours with Katka. Katka’s pleasant voice continues to accompany the girls in the form of recorded healing meditation, which they willingly listen to in case of need. A piece of her light is imprinted inside us. Thank you for everything and we look forward to the possibilities ahead of us. 🙂

Comment from parent:

Thanks to the course and Pavla, I finally have a better understanding of my child’s challenges and know “where the problem lies” and how to deal with it. I highly recommend the course. It was an invaluable therapy not just for my child, but for me as well.

Pavla knows how to motivate children properly.

Klara, age 13
Child with the Asperger syndrome

At the beginning of the course, Klarka was very emotionally unstable. She would shut herself off. There were big disagreements in the family and at school. The care of a psychologist or other therapists did not help much. After initial reluctance to attend classes and learn in general, this changed to interest and willingness to cooperate. The relationship and sharing improved not only with the teacher but also with her mother. She is more self-confident and better able to control her emotions.

Comment from parent:

My daughter had problems at school, emotional instability, fear of insects, problems with food, and was socially less mature. Changes were visible after the first lesson – it can be said that there was an improvement in school, although with Klárka it is still like a swing, but overall there was definitely an improvement. I also notice an improvement in our relationship – frequent hugs, she tells me more and I see the biggest change in emotional control – she is calmer and more balanced. The relationship between us has improved. I finally have open eyes and now know “where the shoe pinches” and how to deal with the challenges.

Matej, age 7
The child with level 3 autism disorder

When Matěj came to us, he did not communicate verbally. On the second lesson he said the word THANK YOU, and on the fourth HELLO, HELLO, HELLO 🙂 He also started maintaining eye contact, smiling, seeking physical contact. Overall, he calmed down and began to participate more in daily activities. During therapy, he stopped leaving the room. On EEG Biofeedback he was praised for being attentive and receptive. He is improving in dressing and undressing and has started participating in household chores.

Comment from parent:

Our son Matysek is almost seven years old and autistic. We started going to EOV lessons in January 2022, when Matysek was 6 years and 4 months old. Matysek is nonverbal, which is, from my point of view, the most challenging problem. Additionally, as is known with autism, there was almost no eye contact before the lessons, no interest in sharing, and no interest in cuddling.

Changes in Matysek with each lesson increased, I wrote down every progress or change in a notebook. Matysek still does not speak (only a few words so far), but he has an interest in sharing, comes to cuddle, looks at us when something is not allowed or does not work, lets us explain it. During his favorite activities, he likes our presence (he didn’t care before, he would rather leave). Sometimes he also helps with cleaning. He clearly invites to play, either with his younger brother or with us (mom and dad).

In the nursery school, the teacher also noticed the changes and praised Matysek for trying to say something: dog, pool, hello in an appropriate context. He also protects a younger classmate and participates more in collective activities.

I could write a lot more. Basically, the EOV lessons helped us “start something” with Matýsek and as parents we have to continue to develop that “something” so that our Matysek will have a good future, be satisfied and happy.

Terezie K.
Participant of the EOV instructor training course

I feel enormous gratitude that I was able to participate in the EOV course for lecturers. The entire four days were truly packed with information, experiences, stories, and great energy. I would like to extend a big thank you to Kata and Paja, who, in collaboration with Verena Carvajal, make something so incredible possible, and also for their excellent leadership.  It warms my heart to have been able to become a part of this family, and that now I too can contribute to making the world a slightly better place for all of us.

Martina J.
Participant of the EOV instructor training course

The capacity of our mind and consciousness is many times greater than what we normally use and I have heard before that it is possible to learn to see with closed eyes. But I did not really understand what good it could be for and honestly, it did not interest me much. Then I came across the methodology of extraocular vision (EOV), developed and spread by the Mexican association Viendo por el Mundo and I immediately felt that I wanted to learn more about this method and that its meaning was much deeper than just teaching someone to “see with closed eyes.”

Thanks to “coincidences” EOV kept crossing my path until I had a personal meeting with the founder of the association Verenice Carvajal and from there it was just a small step to complete the EOV instructor training course.

Seeing a child, who in just one hour-long lesson, can “open up” and, with a mask on their eyes, see not only colors and shapes, but even read something to you, is an experience that gives me goosebumps to this day. However, the most important thing is that, by activating extraocular vision and the associated expansion of consciousness, the child will gain a completely different idea of who they truly are and what they are capable of. Thanks to certain mental exercises, children’s memory and concentration improve, their relationships within and outside the family improve, and children acquire simple tools for managing their emotions and fears (fear of darkness, fear of being alone…). Such children, and people in general, are no longer as easily manipulatable, they know that they can rely on their own intuition and are best able to decide what is right and which path to take in life.

It was really demanding four days and I think I’ll be recovering from it for a few more days, but thanks to the great teachers Káta and Pája and the amazing group of people it was an indescribable experience that I definitely don’t regret. But what convinced me the most was the children, because all of them, including those who were brought to the course somewhat against their will, left with shining eyes and wide smiles from ear to ear.

This method is also applicable to adults, but most of us have many internal injuries and false beliefs that block this ability, so it is much more demanding and not always possible. Let’s at least give it to our children, maybe it will at least slightly improve the outlook for our future.
